Apartment Complex

A stream runs through the middle of this apartment complex. The existing flood zone map had an error that raised the base flood elevation above what was reasonable. By updating the information to the current topography and proper elevation, we were able to model a more realistic 100 year flood event.

We submitted our model to FEMA as a Letter of Map Revision (LOMR) and modified the existing flood boundaries on the flood zone map. The newly defined flood zone freed up a large percentage of the property for construction.

River Analysis

By using Lidar and terrain mapping software we can analyze various flood scenarios for rivers and streams. By building the river banks in 3d we are able to accurately map the limits of the rivers while at full flood stage.
